Our Ambassadors and Consuls are the heart of Pike Braga Sports & Development Foundation. They are distinguished leaders and athletes who volunteer their influence and expertise to champion youth football and holistic education. Through their global reach, they connect our local initiatives to international opportunities, ensuring every young talent has a platform to thrive.
David James Hodgson (born 6 August 1960) is an English former footballer who played for Middlesbrough, Liverpool, Norwich City, Sunderland, Swansea and Sheffield Wednesday, as well as top division clubs FC Metz in France, Mazda in Japan, and Jerez Club Deportivo in Spain. During his two-year spell at Liverpool, he helped them win the First Division twice. He made 49 appearances in total between 1982 and 1984.
He was a member of the 1982 UEFA European Under-21 Championship-winning England under-21 team.
He was director of sport at BH sports, a division of Blackett Hart & Pratt LLP. He left his post as Darlington manager in October 2006, where he was in his third spell in charge of the team, managing over 400 games. In 2004, he wrote a book titled Three Times A Quaker: My World of Football and Passion for Darlington F.C. published by Speakeasy Publishing. Voted in top 25 North East Managers of all time.

Fernando “Nando” Martínez Perales is a former professional footballer from Valencia, Spain, born in 1967. Playing as a left-back, he built a distinguished career with Valencia CF, Deportivo La Coruña, and Sevilla FC, and represented the Spanish national team.

Over 465 official matches across Spain’s top divisions.
Key member of Deportivo La Coruña’s “Super Depor” era, winning the Copa del Rey (1995) and Supercopa de España (1995).
Two international caps for Spain, debuting in 1988.
